Forklores & Reviews: Restaurant experiences, photos, written reviews, ratings, and other content you create within the app.
Location Data: With your permission, we may collect location data to help you tag restaurants and find places near you. You can disable this in your device settings at any time.
Device Information: Device type, operating system, app version, and unique device identifiers for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the app, such as features used and time spent, to help us improve the experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, operate, and maintain the Fork Yeah Service
Allow you to create, save, and share Forklores
Personalise your experience and improve the app
Develop and power the Fork Factor community rating system
Send you service-related communications (e.g. password resets, important updates)

Monitor usage patterns to diagnose technical issues

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Ever.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

With your consent: When you choose to make a Forklore public, other Fork Yeah users may be able to view it.
Service providers: We may share data with trusted third-party providers who assist in operating the Service (e.g. cloud hosting, analytics), under strict confidentiality agreements.
Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process.
Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Your Content & Forklores

The Forklores, photos, and reviews you create in Fork Yeah belong to you. By uploading content to the Service, you grant Fork Yeah a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use that content within the app and for promotional purposes (such as featuring great Forklores on our website or social media), with attribution where possible. You can delete your content at any time.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

Fork Yeah is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
